Heather Huffman is a seasoned real estate professional with over 15 years of experience in commercial brokerage, development, and portfolio management. She has led real estate projects totaling more than $100 million in combined value across industrial, retail, and mixed-use sectors, working with national clients such as McDonald's, T-Mobile, Panda Express, Great American Cookie, National Trench Safety, Boral Resources, Fleetpride Trucking, and Flowers Foods.
As the Founder of Huffman Real Estate Services, LLC, a commercial real estate brokerage, Heather brings a strategic, full-lifecycle approach to real estate — from site selection and acquisition to development, leasing, and asset optimization. She is known for her hands-on project leadership, deep financial acumen (IRR, pro forma modeling, cap rate analysis), and ability to deliver solutions that align real estate with long-term business goals.
Heather has been recognized with multiple CoStar Power Broker Awards and holds a Broker’s License from the Alabama Real Estate Commission. She is also experienced in construction management, due diligence, and complex lease and sales negotiations across private and public-sector clients.
She has led large-scale disaster recovery and environmental response operations across the U.S. and internationally, managing more than $300 million in complex logistics, cleanup, and reconstruction projects. She oversaw 150 vessels during the BP Oil Spill response, coordinated debris removal and recovery efforts after Hurricanes Ike and Gustav in Texas, and played a key role in emergency management operations following the 2010 Haitian Earthquake. Her leadership in mobilizing people, assets, and strategy under extreme conditions has shaped her ability to execute multifaceted development and infrastructure projects with precision and resilience.

Christopher Huffman is an accomplished real estate developer with more than 20 years of experience delivering successful projects across the Eastern Seaboard and Southern United States. As a Preferred Developer for McDonald’s, Boot Barn, Fleetpride Trucking, and Flowers Foods, Christopher has earned a reputation for executing high-quality retail and light industrial developments.
He has developed numerous retail centers featuring tenants such as T-Mobile, C Spire, Jersey Mike’s, Panda Express, Great American Cookie Co., Affordable Dental Care, PJ’s Coffee, Wingstop, and Tropical Smoothie. Two of his recent projects—The Shoppes at Rangeline and Rangeline Crossing in Mobile, AL—each generated an ROI of over 30%.
As Founder of Huffman Land, LLC, a commercial real estate development company, Christopher oversees all aspects of the development process, from client engagement and site selection to entitlement, design, construction, leasing, and asset disposition. Known for his creative, solution-oriented approach and strong client partnerships, he has built lasting relationships that have led to repeat business and preferred developer status with multiple national brands.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
He began his career with B.L. Harbert International, where he managed multimillion-dollar government and private-sector construction projects, including hospital renovations at Eglin Air Force Base, the 33-room American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Birmingham, AL, and the $12 million, 125,000-square-foot Colonial Bank Building in Shades Valley.
Later, at Bayer Properties, Christopher contributed to the development of landmark projects, including the 1 million-square-foot Birmingham Summit—the first contemporary, open-air lifestyle center in the U.S.—featuring tenants such as Apple, Belk, Barnes & Noble, and Saks Fifth Avenue. His team also developed Front Range Village in Fort Collins, CO, anchored by Target, Lowe’s, Sprouts, Nike, DSW, and Bath & Body Works, as well as Cahaba Village Plaza in Birmingham, AL, home to Whole Foods, Diamonds Direct, Mountain High Outfitters, and Great American Cookies.
